Set 40 minutes north of Cancun airport on the quieter Playa Mujeres peninsula, this adults-only, all-inclusive resort (no one under 16) feels deliberately removed from the strip's noise. The 593 suites lean into a contemporary Mexican design language: marble floors, wood panelling, neutral palettes, and contemporary art throughout (look for Leo Tezcucano's jaguar-and-flamingo mural). Nine restaurants span Brazilian churrascaria at Los Abrazos, Mongolian at Takeshi, and modern Mexican from Edgar Nuñez at María Dolores.
