These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the website luxuryintel.co and any related services (collectively, the "Services").

In these Terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operator of luxuryintel.co. "You" and "your" refer to any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Services.

By accessing or using the Services, by creating an account, or by purchasing a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

We may update these Terms from time to time as described in section 16. Please read them carefully and check back periodically.

1. About luxuryintel.co

luxuryintel.co is an independent luxury hotel intelligence platform that publishes editorial coverage, price tracking, brand profiles, and comparative information about luxury hotels and brands. We are not a travel agent, tour operator, booking platform, or financial adviser. Information provided through the Services is for general informational purposes only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Services. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet these requirements. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and "you" includes that organisation.

The Services are intended for personal, non-commercial use unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

3. Accounts and Registration

Some features of the Services require you to create an account. When you do, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with anyone else.
• Notify us promptly at support@luxuryintel.co if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion as set out in section 14.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

4.1 Plans

We offer paid access to certain features of the Services through one-off purchases and recurring annual subscriptions. The features included in each plan, together with the current price, are described on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Prices are inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes as stated at checkout, and may be charged in different currencies depending on your location.

4.2 Payment processor

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms and acknowledge that we do not store your full payment card details. You are responsible for ensuring that the payment method you provide is valid and that you have authority to use it.

4.3 Auto-renewal of annual subscriptions

If you purchase an annual subscription, it will renew automatically each year on the anniversary of your purchase, at the then-current price for that plan, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis without further approval, until you cancel.

We will notify you in advance of any material change in price or plan terms before a renewal, in accordance with applicable law.

4.4 Cancellation

You can cancel your annual subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@luxuryintel.co. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access to paid features until that date. After cancellation, you will not be charged for further renewals.

One-off purchases are not subscriptions and do not renew.

4.5 Refunds

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you may be entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period under applicable consumer protection law. Subject to that:

• First-time annual subscriptions. You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase by emailing support@luxuryintel.co. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable.
• Renewals. Renewal payments for annual subscriptions are not refundable, except where required by law. Please cancel before your renewal date if you do not wish to be charged.
• One-off purchases. Once delivered, one-off purchases are non-refundable except where required by law.

We may, at our sole discretion, offer partial or full refunds in cases of technical failure or other exceptional circumstances. Refund requests should include your account email and a brief description of the reason for the request.

If you have previously received a refund from us, any subsequent purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law.

4.6 Failed payments and delinquent accounts

If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend or terminate your access to paid features until payment is received. We may also recover any reasonable costs incurred as a result of failed payments or chargebacks.

4.7 Price changes

We may change our prices and plan structures from time to time. Price changes will not affect your current billing period and will take effect at your next renewal, after we have given you reasonable notice.

5. Use of the Services

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms.

5.1 Permitted use

You may browse the Services, view content available to your subscription tier, and use the standard features of the Services for your own personal research and travel planning.

5.2 Prohibited activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Services in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Reproduce, copy, scrape, mirror, sell, resell, or commercially exploit any part of the Services or our content without our prior written consent.
• Use any automated means (including bots, scrapers, crawlers, or data-mining tools) to access, collect, or extract data from the Services, except for legitimate search engine indexing.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any part of the Services, except to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
• Bypass or attempt to bypass any security, rate-limiting, access control, paywall, or authentication mechanism.
• Interfere with the operation of the Services, introduce malware, or attempt to compromise our infrastructure or that of our service providers.
• Use the Services to harass, abuse, threaten, or harm another person.
• Misrepresent your identity, impersonate any person or entity, or create accounts using false information.
• Use the Services to compete with us or to build a competing product or dataset.
• Resell, transfer, or share your account or subscription with any other person.

We may investigate and take legal action against any conduct we believe violates these Terms or harms us, our users, or third parties.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our content

All content on the Services, including text, images, photographs, charts, graphics, designs, layouts, logos, code, and the compilation and arrangement of hotel information, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, database rights, and other intellectual property laws. The luxuryintel.co name and logo are our trademarks.

Except as expressly permitted in these Terms, you may not use, reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, publicly perform, or create derivative works of any of our content without our prior written consent.

6.2 Limited permission for personal use

You may view content on the Services and download or print individual pages for your personal, non-commercial reference, provided you do not remove any copyright or proprietary notices.

6.3 Third-party content

The Services may include third-party trademarks, hotel names, brand names, photographs supplied to us under licence, and other materials owned by third parties. All such materials remain the property of their respective owners. We use them in accordance with applicable law and the terms of any relevant licences.

6.4 Feedback

If you send us suggestions, ideas, comments, or other feedback about the Services, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use that feedback for any purpose, without obligation or compensation to you.

7. User Submissions (Future Features)

The Services do not currently allow users to post reviews, comments, photos, or other user-generated content. If we introduce such features in the future, we will publish supplemental terms covering the rights and responsibilities that apply to user submissions, and your continued use of those features will be subject to those terms.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may include links to third-party websites, such as official hotel websites, booking platforms, or news sources. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for any third-party websites, products, or services, and your dealings with them are solely between you and the third party.

We do not currently include affiliate or referral links on the Services. If we introduce them in the future, we will disclose those relationships clearly.

9. Accuracy of Information

We work to keep the information on the Services accurate and up to date, including hotel descriptions, prices, availability, ratings, and editorial coverage. However:

• Hotel prices, availability, policies, and offerings change frequently and are controlled by hotels and booking platforms, not by us.
• Editorial content reflects our independent assessment based on available information at the time of writing.
• We do not guarantee that any information on the Services is current, complete, accurate, or free from errors.

You should always verify pricing, availability, terms, and any other material information directly with the hotel or booking platform before making a booking or any other decision based on information from the Services. The Services are not a substitute for personalised travel advice.

10. Disclaimers

The Services and all content available through them are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and quiet enjoyment.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components, and we do not warrant that any content will be accurate, complete, current, or reliable. Any reliance you place on the Services or its content is at your own risk.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or loss of opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or otherwise, will not exceed the greater of:

• the total amount you have paid to us in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, and
• one hundred British pounds (£100).

These limitations apply even if any limited remedy fails of its essential purpose. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• your use or misuse of the Services,
• your breach of these Terms or any law or regulation,
• your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights, and
• any content or information you submit to the Services.

We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defence.

13. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information in connection with the Services is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

14. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. You may cancel a subscription as described in section 4.4, and you may close your account by contacting us at support@luxuryintel.co.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, if we believe that you have breached these Terms, that your use poses a security or legal risk to us or others, or that we are required to do so by law. On termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will continue to apply.

If you have an active paid subscription at the time we terminate your account other than for cause, we will refund any unused, prepaid portion of your subscription on a pro-rata basis. No refund is due if termination is for breach of these Terms.

15. Changes to the Services

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation, except as expressly required by law or these Terms.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. If the changes are material, we will give you reasonable notice, for example by email or through a notice on the Services, before they take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Services and may cancel your subscription as described in section 4.4.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

You and we agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, except that if you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom or in the European Union, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection laws of that country.

Before commencing any formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at support@luxuryintel.co so we can try to resolve the matter informally.

18. Miscellaneous

• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements.
• Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision or of any other provision.
• Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• No partnership. Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between you and us.
• Force majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, labour disputes, internet or telecommunications failures, or pandemics.
• Notices. We may send notices to you by email to the address associated with your account or by posting them on the Services. You may send notices to us at support@luxuryintel.co.
