Character and identity
Tucked into the northwest coast of Praslin, Constance Lemuria spreads across three white-sand beaches with lush hillside gardens behind and the Indian Ocean in front. The design language leans into natural materials, wood, stone and soft sand tones lifted by tropical accents, with all 105 suites and villas set steps from the shore (villas add private pools). Seven restaurants and bars run from Creole cooking to sushi and ceviche. The spa occupies an open-air bungalow with Sisley treatments and an alfresco hydrotherapy circuit. Service carries a warm, unhurried Seychellois register.
Who's it for
Best for:
Honeymooners who want seclusion without sacrificing variety, golfers (the resort holds the country's only 18-hole championship course, with complimentary green fees), and divers and snorkellers drawn to shipwrecks, reefs and the turtle conservation programme. Families with active, nature-curious kids fit well, especially during turtle nesting season from October to February.
Should look elsewhere:
Travellers wanting urban energy, big-name nightlife or a compact city-break footprint should skip it; Praslin is a deliberate journey. Design maximalists chasing a bold architectural statement may find the palette and styling restrained rather than memorable.
Bottom line
The defining draw here is the combination of natural assets you simply cannot replicate elsewhere in the Seychelles: a championship golf course, world-class diving off the beach and guided turtle-nesting walks on Grand Anse Kerlan. Book a Pool Villa if you want genuine privacy over a suite, and target October to February if the turtles are the reason you are coming.
