Character and identity
Set directly on Fifth Avenue South, this is the only luxury address truly inside downtown Naples' shopping, dining and bar grid rather than out by the beach. The look runs streamlined and contemporary, greys, blacks and creams cut through with red, and the property splits between standard rooms and a more exclusive Club Level wing with its own concierge lounge and private rooftop terrace fringed with palms. Expect a rooftop pool and hot tub, a 24-hour TechnoGym and Nautilus fitness centre, a spa, three restaurants including Truluck's, and golf and tennis privileges arranged off-site.
Who's it for
Best for:
Couples and well-heeled snowbirds who want to walk out the door into restaurants, bars and boutiques rather than drive to them. Foodies in particular do well here, with 35-plus restaurants within strolling distance. Club Level, with its all-day food, drinks and top-shelf bar, suits social travellers who treat the lounge as a second living room.
Should look elsewhere:
Beach loungers and families building days around sand and surf, as this is a downtown urban hotel, not a resort. Anyone visiting in peak winter (mid-December through March) should know the town roughly doubles in size and the surrounding avenue gets loud and busy.
Bottom line
The pitch here is location, you are inside the action on Fifth Avenue rather than a drive away, with a polished, continually refreshed room product to come back to. Pay up for a Club Level Suite if you want the trip to feel genuinely luxurious; the lounge access, rooftop and food-and-drink inclusions are what separate this from a good downtown hotel. Shoulder season (late April, November) avoids the snowbird crush.
