Set squarely in Cancun's Hotel Zone, this 447-room beachfront resort trades on space, ocean views and a soft, sand-toned palette threaded with Mayan references: aerial photographs of cenotes, textile nods to ancient garments, sandstone tiles and blue accents. What defines a stay here is scale done well: a vast pool complex, a serious spa, and ocean-view rooms with real space, all in the thick of the Hotel Zone. Spend up for a Club 91 category if you can; the lounge access and upgraded views materially change the experience. Shoulder season rates (late spring, early autumn) offer the best value.
