Character and identity
A residential-feeling all-suite property of 83 units set in the heart of Whistler Village, one of two Pan Pacifics in town and the quieter sibling to the slopeside Mountainside. The mood is calm and grown-up rather than boot-clattering après chaos: think gas fireplaces, granite kitchens, balconies, and a generous outdoor pool. On-site food is limited to a complimentary breakfast buffet, with Raven Room handling happy hour and increasingly hosting live music. Service is warm and notably well briefed on where to eat in the village. A shared ski valet at the Mountainside extends slopeside convenience.
Who's it for
Best for:
Families, multi-generational ski trips, and groups who want a full kitchen, room to spread out across one or two bedrooms, and a peaceful base within walking distance of Whistler's bars and restaurants. Also ideal for travellers who prioritise village life and fireside downtime over being first on the gondola.
Should look elsewhere:
Anyone wanting true ski-in, ski-out access (the Mountainside is the better call), or guests who expect a full roster of on-site restaurants, a destination spa, and resort-style F&B. Hard-charging après crowds will find the atmosphere too sedate.
Bottom line
The pitch here is suite-style living in the middle of the village at a calmer pitch than the gondola-base hotels, with a clever workaround for the lack of slope access via the shared ski valet. Book it if you're travelling as a family or group and want a kitchen and fireplace; request a higher-floor suite facing away from the village for the quietest nights.
