Set atop Pat's Hill on 300 manicured acres overlooking the town and Hersheypark below, this 1933 grande dame is Milton Hershey's love letter to his and Kitty's world travels: a Mediterranean-inspired pile with a green tile roof, Spanish tile floors, open terraces and formal gardens, fountains and reflecting pools throughout the grounds. The chocolate theme is total, from the bar handed over at check-in to the Kisses at turndown to the Whipped Cocoa Bath and Chocolate Fondue Wrap at the spa. The Circular handles signature dining (the dessert menu in particular), and the service register lands as polished but warm rather than starchy.
