Character and identity
The Tower is the 27-story centerpiece of The Boca Raton, a 200-acre resort wedged between a half-mile of private Atlantic beach and Lake Boca Raton. Following a $65 million refresh (part of a larger $200 million property-wide overhaul), the Rockwell Group-designed all-suite floors keep the building's original pink facade while adding palm-leaf carpets, warm wood, and sweeping water views. Guests get dedicated butler service and access to the exclusive second-floor Tower Lounge, plus the run of Spa Palmera (50,000 square feet, Alhambra-inspired), ten-plus restaurants including four Major Food Group concepts, a marina, golf, tennis, and the Harborside Pool Club.
Who's it for
Best for:
Families and multi-generational groups who want a serious resort with a kids' club, water park, robot butlers and tween hangout, alongside couples happy to mix beach days with long spa afternoons and a Sadelle's bagel breakfast. The unpretentious, country-club crowd sets the tone: dressed up, but easy.
Should look elsewhere:
Anyone seeking a small, design-driven boutique will find this overwhelming: 1,000-plus rooms, a private membership club, and constant activity. Solo travellers chasing seclusion, urbanites who want walkable nightlife, or guests who dislike resort scale and snowbird energy should book elsewhere.
Bottom line
What sets the Tower apart is access: butler service, the private guest lounge, and a quieter address inside an otherwise enormous, club-driven resort. Book a Tower suite (rather than Cloisters or Beach Club) if you want the upgraded room product and lounge perks, plan at least one half-day at Spa Palmera, and aim for shoulder season to dodge peak snowbird rates.
