Character and identity
Spread across 65 hillside acres above Labrelotte Bay, Windjammer Landing reads as a Mediterranean village transplanted to St Lucia's northwest coast: dozens of terracotta-roofed white stucco buildings tumbling down to a crescent of white sand. A recent $12 million renovation has refreshed the lobby, villas and public spaces with Caribbean-Mediterranean cues, custom Mindi and teak furniture, and ocean-blue accents. The 220 keys are almost all villas, all ocean-facing, ranging from 1,875 to 4,200 square feet. Seven restaurants, five bars, six pools, the Serene Wellness & Spa (with paddleboard and garden yoga), and warm, name-remembering service set the tone.
Who's it for
Best for:
Multi-generational families, group trips and bachelor/ette parties who want space, kitchens and an all-inclusive that genuinely flexes, plus couples after a private-pool villa for a honeymoon or proposal. Sun-and-sea types who'll use the complimentary watersports and Jammin' Tours excursions get strong value.
Should look elsewhere:
Anyone needing step-free access should rule it out: the hillside layout and internal villa stairs are unavoidable. Travellers wanting a walkable town, nightlife at the door, or a quick transfer from the airport (it's roughly 90 minutes) will find it isolating.
Bottom line
What defines a stay here is scale and flexibility: villa-sized accommodation with kitchens, seven restaurants and an all-inclusive that lets a family of six eat, cook or order in as the mood takes them. Book an Ocean Point Residence if you want to be on the sand, or a Manor Collection villa with private pool for the view and the seclusion. Worth timing around the quieter shoulder months.
