Character and identity
A sleek glass tower in central Ankara that leans into grand-hotel theatrics: soaring lobby ceilings, marble floors and 50-foot crystal chandeliers set the tone the moment you walk in. The 413 rooms and suites start at a generous 452 square feet, dressed in rich tones with wall-to-wall windows, deep-soaking tubs and proper workspaces. Dining ranges across international and Turkish menus, with a rooftop bar for evening drinks. Karma Wellness Spa runs a full hammam programme alongside massages and facials, and there are both a domed indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool with blue checkerboard tiling. Service is warm and personal.
Who's it for
Best for:
Business travellers and diplomatic visitors who want generous square footage, a serious spa and a polished urban base within reach of Atakule Tower, the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations and the Tunali Hilmi shopping strip. Couples after a city-break stay with hammam time and a strong room product will also do well here.
Should look elsewhere:
Travellers chasing boutique intimacy or a design-forward independent property may find the scale and chain-hotel grandeur impersonal. If you want resort-style leisure or beach access, this is the wrong city entirely.
Bottom line
The draw here is space and grandeur at city-hotel rates: rooms are larger than most luxury competitors in town, and the spa and twin pools punch above the typical urban offering. Book a standard room for the square footage alone, or stretch to the 4,725-square-foot Royal Griffin Suite with butler service if you're entertaining. Aim for shoulder seasons when the outdoor pool is open.
