Character and identity
This 300-room tower sits on the cliffs of Miraflores, directly across from the Larcomar shopping complex and a short walk from the Malecón boardwalk. The architecture leans contemporary and high-gloss, with a glass façade that pulls the Pacific into the lobby and Peruvian textiles and artwork softening the polished marble. Floor-to-ceiling windows in every room frame either ocean or city views. Two restaurants focus on Peruvian cooking with local produce, and the property runs a spa, a sizeable gym, ten meeting spaces, a seasonal pool terrace, and a club lounge for eligible Marriott members. Service register is traditional, polished urban luxury.
Who's it for
Best for:
First-time visitors to Lima who want a plush, low-friction base in the safest, most walkable district. Couples will appreciate the ocean-view rooms and sunset pool terrace; business travellers get serious meeting infrastructure and a club lounge; anyone who wants to walk to Larcomar, the cliffside parks and Miraflores restaurants is perfectly placed.
Should look elsewhere:
Design-led travellers chasing a boutique sense of place or a distinctly Peruvian property may find the look corporate and the experience familiar. There's no beach access in the swimmable sense, and the surrounding district, while convenient, is busy and commercial rather than tranquil.
Bottom line
What you're paying for here is location and view: the cliff-edge Miraflores position and the Pacific panorama from the glass rooms are the reason to book. Splurge for a full ocean-view room or, for the freestanding tub and guaranteed vista, the Master Suite. Lounge access is worth chasing if your status allows.
